Planet COB readers may recall a series of interviews that was launched back in 2011 featuring various members of the Circle of Bosses squad. Well, due to popular demand the project has continued forward and a new video is now available.

As promised, Planet COB’s brand new interview with the Horseshoe G.A.N.G.’s Kenny Siegel is now available online for viewing. The interview covers a wide variety of topics from the early stages of the emcee’s rapping career to where he sees himself in the future. It’s definitely a well produced interview and fans will undoubtedly learn something new about the Shoe Gang’s youngest member.

Iceman Releases "Back To The 90s" Mixtape

Over the past few months, Iceman has unleashed a massive amount of music ranging from freestyles to feature appearances. However, COB’s Backpack is not slowing down one bit as he’s returned with a new full length project.

Iceman’s Back To The 90’s mixtape is now available online as a free download. The project features Iceman delivering his signature flow and rhyme style over classic Hip Hop and R&B instrumentals from the 90’s. The mixtape showcases Iceman’s love for his craft and extremely versatile approach to rapping. This project is sure to stay in rotation throughout the entire summer, so please take some time to download it using the link included below.

Horseshoe G.A.N.G. "True Story" Cover

A few months ago, the Horseshoe G.A.N.G. teamed up with DJ Far to release their Ambitions Az A Writer mixtape. The project was well received by fans and the team is already gearing up for their next effort.

On September 11th, the Horseshoe G.A.N.G. will release their highly anticipated True Story EP through digital retailers. The U-Gang has been working hard on this project over the last few months and are expected to solidify themselves as an unstoppable force in the Hip Hop game with it’s release. Although an official track listing has not been made available to the public, the EP’s official cover art has been revealed. K-Young "Free Will" Release Date & Cover

Treacherous Records and Magic Ink’s K-Young recently unleashed his DJ Far hosted mixtape Something Different to the Internet. Although this project is only a week old, the singer-songwriter is already planning his next release.

On August 14th, K-Young will release his brand new EP Free Will through digital retailers. The project’s first single If Ur Single, which is produced by Rob Holladay, was released back in May and is now available for purchase. Fans who enjoy the single are sure to love the project’s final product as it is said to contain K-Young’s best work to date. Although further details are not available at this time, we will be sure to keep readers aware of any updates.

Slaughterhouse "Nasty" Freestyle

Slaughterhouse has been working around the clock preparing for their upcoming welcome to: Our House album. While fans await the project’s arrival, the team is planning a new mixtape and has uploaded a preview to the Internet.

The Shady Records four-headed monster has teamed up with DJ Drama to unleash a “Gangsta Grillz” mixtape. The mixtape, which serves a prelude to their upcoming album, is expected to be released within the next month. The House Gang released the project’s first leak to the Internet this afternoon and it’s already getting great reviews. The group’s new track Weight Scale, which is a freestyle over the instrumental to Nas’ Nasty, is simply a lyrical firestorm. Slaughterhouse "SHDY Sports" Series & More

While Slaughterhouse was on tour earlier this year, the team released a collection of video blogs. The crew is continuing the tradition and has started a brand new series.

Last week the Slaughterhouse movement released the first installment in their SHDY Sports blog series. The video is set up in the format of a sports broadcast and touches on the crew’s recent music video release. As usual the House Gang is in rare form and their commentary is quite entertaining. Slaughterhouse To Perform In Brooklyn

On August 28th, the Slaughterhouse super-group will release their highly anticipated sophomore album. While fans await the project’s arrival, the team is gearing up for another live show.

Slaughterhouse will perform live on stage in Brooklyn, New York at The Well on August 10th. The Rahim The Dream hosted event will features additional performances by Freeway, Pharoahe Monch, DJ Soul and several others. Tickets are now on sale and we encourage everyone to come out and show their support for the House Gang.

Crooked I Begins Shooting "Praise God" Video

Last month Crooked I teamed up with the LA Leakers to release his Psalm 82:v6 mixtape to the Internet. The Boss is now promoting the project with an upcoming music video.

Crooked I began shooting the music video to the Tabu produced record Praise God today. The song is definitely a different sound for the “God” of the West and has become a fan favorite. A few weeks ago, Crooked I announced his plans to record not only this video, but several others from his recent mixtape release. The COB leader is encouraging fans to hit him up on Twitter with suggestions for the next video. While additional information regarding the Praise God video is not available, we have included a shot of Crooked I on the set.

Treacherous Records' "The Mint Room" Now Available

In 2009 Treacherous Records released an underground classic titled Mick’s Tape. Well, after much anticipation, the record label has finally released their follow up compilation.

Treacherous Records’ The Mint Room is a fourteen track compilation featuring appearances by some of the hottest artists in the game. While it’s expected that both the Circle of Bosses and Treacherous Records rosters appear on this project, several other talented artists joined the line up as well. Equally, an impressive list of producers such as Komplex, Tabu, Dae-One, the Pitchshifters and more joined the cast. We are confident that this project will serve as a soundtrack for the summer season and we ask fans show support.

Last week it was announced that K-Young is gearing up to perform live on stage in Orange County. Well, it was recently confirmed that he will be joined by his Circle of Bosses family as well.

On July 13th, K-Young and the Horseshoe G.A.N.G. will perform live on stage at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California. Additionally, the Cali NDAMIX presented show will be headlined by none-other-than The Terror Squad’s Fat Joe. This show is going to be off the hook and we ask fans to show their support by picking up tickets immediately.
